Self-proclaimed auto-buffs are probably well aware that the annual Frankfurt Motor Show is imminent. And self-proclaimed auto-buffs who are especially fond of the Audi brand (like those of us here at Jim Ellis Audi Atlanta) are probably quite excited to see what the German automaker will have to show for itself at the mid-September showcase.
Well, we are here to share with you, our Jim Ellis Audi Atlanta blog readers, some pretty exciting news. Specifically, not only is Audi officially debuting its exciting Quattro Sport E-Tron Concept we've been hearing so much about, it also has released some sketches of said concept ahead of its world debut.
Admittedly, the published sketches are sort of preliminary in nature and don't quite offer us the whole picture, yet. However, they do give us a general idea of what we can expect from the Audi Quattro Sport E-Tron Concept at its debut.
So, what can we see from the images?
Firstly, it appears that the new Audi Quattro Sport E-Tron Concept depicted in the sketches can be likened to the Quattro Concept which had its debut in Paris in 2010, at least looks-wise.
However the news that accompanies the renderings is arguably more exciting. That's because it states that we can anticipate around a 700 horsepower output which will be achieved via a gas and electric motor. The engine specifics have even been revealed and we can expect the same 4.0-liter V8 powerplant that is found in the Audi RS6 and RS7 models.
Stay tuned for more about the Audi Quattro Sport E-Tron Concept and the Frankfurt Show. And, in the meantime, we invite you to visit Jim Ellis Audi Atlanta for more information about the new Audi models we carry, anytime.[INFO]: http://www.autoblog.com/2013/08/14/audi-quattro-sport-e-tron-concept-frankfurt/
